Zizek, a controversial professor of philosophy, justifies Iran's right to have the A-bomb, from an interesting deconstructionist philosophical point of view, in the last issue of In These Times.

As to Iran and nukes, the surprising fact is that the MAD logic still operates today: Why hasn't the tension between India and Pakistan exploded into an all-out war? Because both sides are nuclear powers. Why have the Arab states not risked another attack on Israel? Because Israel is a nuclear power. So why should this MAD logic not work in the case of Iran? The standard counter-argument is that in Iran, Muslim fundamentalists are in power who may be tempted to nuke Israel. (Iran ~~is the only large Arab state~~ which not only does not diplomatically recognize Israel, but resolutely denies its right to exist as a state). Is, however, the Iranian regime really so "irrational"? Isn't Pakistan, with its nuclear arms and its secret services' ties to al-Qaeda, a much greater threat? Furthermore, two decades ago, Iran was brutally attacked by Iraq (with active U.S. support), so it has every right to feel threatened.

Consider the following, published in Zaman, the fifth largest newspaper in Turkey:

Amid the smoke from the fortuitous fire [i.e., the capture of Louai Sakra, said to be the al-CIA-duh regional boss in Turkey] emerged the possibility that al-Qaeda may not be, strictly speaking, an organization but an element of an intelligence agency operation. Turkish intelligence specialists agree that there is no such organization as al-Qaeda. Rather, Al-Qaeda is the name of a secret service operation. The concept 'fighting terror' is the background of the 'low-intensity-warfare' conducted in the mono-polar world order. The subject of this strategy of tension is named as 'al-Qaeda.'

Note the use of the phrase "strategy of tension," an obvious reference to Gladio, the state-sponsored terrorist operation in Italy (basically a series of fascist false flag operations, or "low intensity warfare," blamed on leftists). All agents who planted bombs and caused disorder in Khuzestan province in the months of May and June were arrested by intelligent ministry forces.

According to a communique issued by intelligence ministry's public relations office on Monday evening, the agents who caused disorder in April and planted bombs in June in Khuzestan province were finally arrested by continuous efforts of intelligence officials with the help of people and cooperation of judiciary officials.

In the communique, a copy of which was faxed to IRNA, the arrested agents confessed to their connection to separatist and opposition groups and also their affiliation to alien intelligence services, especially that of England.

Once again an "unofficial story" criticizes the "official stories", in this case about 9/11. the theory is more likely a matter of the similar false conspiracy theories but indeed where is the the frontier of truth and conspiracy theory? the official story?

The government may have fooled millions of Americans with its cockamamie official story, but the former fighter pilot who flew over 100 combat missions in Vietnam and who sat for 35 years in the cockpit for Pan Am and United, wasn't one of them.

Following a disclosure by an Iranian MP about Rice's relations with her Iranian [gay] boyfriend when she was a university student, today I heard that a gay party will be held by the "Rice gay lovers" tonight at Islamic Azad University of Qazvin! also rumors say that the big colorful posters of Rice have been widely distributed in Qazvin and she is going to become a love celebrity among qazvinis!
Qazvin is impliedly the gay capital of Iran.

Last night and while falling to sleep in front of TV, and when BBC world was reporting about London bombs, incidentally I remembered my controversial Apr 5th post on dailykos.

immediately I turned on my PC and logged on to dkos seeking in my previous posts ... oh no! London bombs had been predicted earlier!

then and for a detailed and more documented source, I digged out the last months Arabic web for Hassan charni, London and his predictions for 2005 bombings. that's true! openly he had predicted the London events. just like his predictions about Diana, Arafat and Pop!

Just I voted for Hashemi. but unfortunately I couldt convince my aged mother to vote for him. she says Ahmadinezhad will work fairly for people.

Hashemi campaign obviously has adopted two main tactics;
1- focusing on poor class (the red zone of social pyramid) by following Karrubi's plan to give 500,000 rials per month to every Iranian over 18! now, Nobakht, Hashemi's economic spokesman, says we will give 800,000-1,200,000 rials per month to every unemployed iranian!

Nobakht and other amphibian reformist economists, usually accuse leftist economists of populism!! but it seems already they have got the message; Ahmadinezhad is really serious about throwing them out of their managerial posts!!

2- Unifying various kinds of social reference groups pro Hashemi to motivate the blue and green zones to change Hashemi's potential vote (the dotted line of social pyramid) to the real votes( solid line).
